How do we verify the identity of the user?

Cyberus Key uses a combination of data elements to identify a user to securely log in to web-based or mobile account.

  • User Profile stored in the Cyberus Key Authentication Server after initial app registration: name and email address.
  • Device ID Verification sent to the authentication server during every transaction: unique app ID and device ID.
  • Additional authentication factors: biometric or custom PIN.

During the registration process (on a mobile app) user need to provide name and email address. Account is verified by registration email confirmation.

Note: The system can be customized based on the specific security requirements of a client.
